What GCs need to know before adding Multimedia Tech to their approved vendor list.

Yes. We are fully licensed for low-voltage work in Texas and carry $1,000,000 general liability insurance. We can name your entity as additionally insured on our policy and provide a certificate of insurance within 24 hours of request. Our crew holds OSHA-10 certifications.

$1,000,000 general liability, with the ability to add additional insured endorsements for your company and the project owner. Workers’ compensation coverage is also maintained for all field technicians. Certificate delivery within 24 hours.

Yes. We produce AV shop drawings, equipment submittals, product data sheets, and O&M manuals — formatted to your project’s submittal schedule and requirements. We can upload directly to Procore, BuilderTrend, or your preferred platform.

We attend coordination meetings (in-person or virtual), integrate with your MEP BIM coordination model when required, and provide written rough-in requirements for the electrical and framing contractors. Our project manager maintains a 3-week lookahead tied to your master schedule.

Yes. We can split our scope into a rough-in-only contract and a separate finish-out contract, or provide both under a single lump-sum AV subcontract — whichever fits your project delivery model.

All change orders are documented in writing with an itemized cost breakdown before work proceeds. We do not do verbal change orders. PCO response time is typically 24–48 hours.

We provide a limited lifetime warranty on all labor and workmanship — meaning defects in installation quality are corrected at no cost to you or the owner indefinitely. Equipment warranties are passed through from manufacturers (typically 1–5 years depending on product).

Yes. We can work on bonded projects and provide a performance and payment bond through our bonding company for projects that require it. Contact us with the bond amount and project details and we’ll confirm capacity within 48 hours.
